2000 Season Results

The 2000 race season was much better than 1999. Consistency and hard work resulted in an overall 3rd in season point standings and a nice trophy. A change in rules for the Modified class at the Rocky Mountain Raceway for the 2000 season increased the minimum weight from 2300 lbs. to 2500 lbs. with a 50 lbs. handicap for methanol and a Hoosier 970 spec tire. The increased minimum weight made #66 more competitive since it raced at 2600 lbs during the 1999 season vs 2300 lbs for most of the other cars.

What we do for an encore in 2001 will be more difficult.
