2001 Season Results

The 2001 season was an up-down affair. Penalties, broken brake lines, blown engines and bent parts have conspired against us all season. The pain has been mitigated somewhat by 4 first place finishes, two of them in the last two races. The season is over and we managed to work our way up to 5th in the point standings. There is one more 100 lap race left on 09/21 but it does not count in the point standings, instead being a "money race" (now there is an oxymoron if I ever saw one). A season finale is planned for Las Vegas on 10/06.

The new Lefthander chassis is working well and the "big guy" engine held together. This combination gave us 3 first place finishes in last 9 starts, not a bad season's work!
