LIFE REALLY SUCKS AT THE TRACK, but sometimes nice things happen

Well, this season, we have made the following offerings to the God of Speed:

05/29/06           Stripped the coupler in the rear end
06/10/06            Broke a lifter and trashed the cam
06/24/06            Broke another lifter and trashed another cam
07/22/06            Took out the right front end
08/13/06            Swallowed a valve, resulting in: Block repair, New Pistons,
                            New rods, New cam, New valves, New Pushrods, Lots of $$$$

All of this cut our season short and we were forced to watch the 09/04 race from the safety of the stands. Ted Finkenbinder, who owns the 3F car graciously offered Jimbo a ride for last race of the season, proving that if you wait long enough, something nice will happen. We didn't do justice to the car with limited practice and setup time, but finished 6th in the main and didn't break anything. Giving us a 9th overall finish for the season. Not too bad considering we had more DNF's than completed races.
